I QUIT This B!*@H!!

Friday was officially my last day at my secondary job. I know what y'all are thinking ... Dang ::Beautiful::!! Already? Well ya damn right!! After only two days of working there, my professional relationship with them has come to an end. That in and of itself was one of the three reasons why I took my permanent leave of absence. I wasn't getting any hours. I took the job in the first place to two reasons (1) to have extra money to try to get a grip of some of my bills and (2) to use the discount to get Christmas presents for those who I deemed worthy. Reason 2 was fulfilled, but the most important reason was not. I was only getting one day a week and then I was only working 5 hours. What can you do with 5 hours making minimum wage? Nothing!! Nothing at all. That was the gas money to get to and from there. It was so not worth it to go in there the days that I did.

Another reason for my "sudden" displeasure with the place as managements bad ass attitude. They were soooo rude. Every time I asked a question they had something smart to say. They acted as if my time wasn't important. Example: I went in there while I was still one the fence about quiting and asked if we had gotten payed for the previous week. One of my mangers said, "Yeah, the checks are in the back." I said, "Well can I get mine since I'm here?" It was my day off. She said, "Yeah it will be a minute." I'm thinking okay it probably be about five minutes or so. 45 minutes passed and I still didn't have my check!! I leave come back and try to purchase some socks. The second ranking manger doesn't want to ring me up and when I ask him for my check it he is too lazy to go to the back and retrieve it. He sends back to the same chick who didn't it in the first place. By this time I have an attitude. I say LOOK I have somewhere to be I need my check NOW!! Guess how long it took her to give me my check then ... about two seconds!! Why couldn't she have just done that at first?!?!

The only good things out of the whole experience was that it made me appreciate my main gig, and I made one new friend. I know that in the past I have really complained about my steady JOB, but after this lil incident ... I think I'll stick it out over there. The grass was brunt up as hell on the other side and so not worth the trip across the fence.
