ATTENTION Black Women

We are DYING. Young, black women are dying, and our mates, our lovers, our men are the killers. Black men are killing us. I know that it's not something as common or wide spread as AIDS or even cancer, but young women being murdered at the hands of their boyfriends, or ex-boyfriends is becoming an all too familiar way of demise for my African-American sisters. It's not something that was common ((at least to my knowledge)) when I was growing up. But as I have come into adulthood, this issue has become something that is always in the back of my mind. Every time I get questioned about how come I didn't answer the phone, or if the dude that I talk to wants to know where I went, I get nervous. He could very well be possessive, in turn jealous, and therefore crazy as hell. There are too many of us dying this way. We have to be careful. We have to be smart. Love or sex or whatever it is that you think that you can only get from a man is NOT worth dying over. Protect yourselves. It's a cold world out there, pray and ask GOD for guidance when it comes to choosing a mate. Let HIM place the man the HE wants you to have in your life. GOD will never harm you, and only he can give the man that he has for you. Ladies pray for a spirit of discernment. Pray the GOD keeps his angels of protection around you. My prayer for any lady that reads this blog is the no harm will ever come upon you. Let GOD's holy spirit lead you, and when GOD speaks to you, heed HIS words.
