Artist of the Week: Ne-yo

Ne-yo is the new artist of the week!! I'm going to let it be known right now ... I am a huge Ne-yo fan. This man single-handedly took r&b to a totally new level. Ne-yo won me over when he first broke onto the music scene back in late 2004, early 2005 with So Sick. From there, it's just been cool. He is sooo talented. I'm not even gonna lie, he can definitely crank out the baby making music. In fact my very first baby making music post featured his song Say It. Not only does he write songs for himself, he rights hits for other people. He is the master mind behind Mario's greatest hit to date Let Me Love You. Ne-yo also had a part in one of my favorite movies Stomp the Yard. He is a great live performer. He's just the total package. His new album Year of the Gentleman is due out sometime this month. His current single is called Miss Independent.
