Blast from the Past: H-Town - Knockin' the Boots

Back in the day when H-Town was THE Group, I was just a little kid. No more the probably 6 or 7 years old, so I had no idea how great of a group they really were. But as I got older and used to the listen old school segments on the radio and midnight love, I realized that H-town was that bomb. I went back and bought all of their albums and have been fans of theirs ever since. Dino was really a great vocalist and I haven't heard anyone that could stir up my emotions like him to this day. He had the right voice for baby making music.

Recently Pretty Ricky did a remake of this song, and I have to be honest ... I'm just not feeling it. I don't know if it's because I'm such a fan of the original, or if their version is just horrible, but either way, it's a no go on my end. Just for the sake of acknowledgement, here's their version as well.

I don't want to leave out the fact that Pretty Ricky might have also been trying to introduce us to their new member 4Play, and trying to showcase his "skills". They should have aimed a little lower though, because Dino had big shoes to fill.
