Artist of the Week:
Keri Hilson

You have to press pause for the music to stop
Artist of the Week. Keri is the bomb. This chick is straight out of the ATL. She has been doing her thing is the music industry for a looong time behind the scenes as a writer and a vocal arranger for a lot the today's mega stars from hip hop to r&b, and even pop. Be on the look out though, because she in the raise like unbaked bread. I've been a fan of hers since I heard an unreleased track by her called "Happy Juice" which featured Snoop Dog. Keri is signed to both Mosely Group <= Timberland's label and Zone 4 <= Polow the Don's label. Her debut album In a Perfect World is slated for a October release, and I'm definitely going to cop it once it comes out. Her current single is called "Energy".
"No human is exempt from the realities of life—heartbreak, love, failure, success—I want my album to convey a sense of reality. That's the standpoint that lent itself to the title. There will always be something you’d change if only you lived ‘In A Perfect World…’ and I’m no different.” -Keri Hilson
